Nude & light in Paris

Patricia back at it again with a nude outfit. I mean what else did you expect? Colour? Not over here. Clearly I have a theme going on: romantic & feminine. Its summer in Paris! Of course my outfit of choice will align accordingly. Light fabric. Light colour. Breezy feeling in the heat!

We decided to walk around the area by our AirBnb to wander, and get lost while looking for places to take pictures. We walked to Notre-Dame cathedral and we saw this bridge overlooking the Seine. I believe this picture was taken on the Pont Notre-Dame, another bridge that crosses over the Seine. I absolutely love the multiple bridges that crosses the Seine River. If you're looking for a chill activity to do, pack a picnic and hang out by the river! You just need 5 things: wine, cheese, bread, a blanket and of course some french pastries!

Parisian OOTD, Versailles Edition

It has been my absolute dream to go to Château de Versailles. I knew I needed to include this in our Parisian itinerary. I am a situational dresser so I definitely coordinated my outfit and went for my take on Parisian palace vibes: romantic, light and feminine. The architecture is very romantic. Of course just like every corner in Paris, everywhere you look, and everywhere within the palace grounds is picturesque. This outfit I put together was definitely super girly and you can say sophisticated. I added a casual touch with some white sneakers. As I've said from before, I love a sophisticated/formal outfit with a touch of causal in the form of a casual white sneaker. Also, it doesn't hurt to be have comfy footwear with all the walking you do around Paris! 

Light colours: white, blush & nude tones. Light fabrics. Romantic & feminine. Very Parisian. Very fitting for a palace. Very me.

Dresses x sneakers, another Parisian OOTD

Paris is the fashion capital of the world so it makes sense the people here are very fashion-forward. I went to Paris during the first two weeks of May. The weather was nice and warm. My outfits consisted of light colours and fabrics; a lot of pretty dresses, skirts, fun tops, and light duster jackets.

 The first thing I noticed was abundance of females wearing pretty skirts and dresses, however a majority of them were wearing sneakers. I used to match my dresses with fancier/dressier shoes but since I have such a thing for white sneakers I loved matching the two. It was so nice to see that I blend right in. It makes sense to wear comfortable shoes as a lot of walking gets done when you're roaming the streets of Paris. What's your guys' favourite summertime combo?

Embroidered tulle dress, a Parisian OOTD

Our first morning in Paris, I made sure that we had an early start. We were up and out of the house by 7am. At this time all the cafes and boulangeries were just opening up. Which was perfect because I had my first authentic Parisian croissant and latte. I can honestly say I had a croissant EVERY morning with my latte for breakfast. No other croissant back home will ever even come close to the croissants in Paris. The thing is there is no one cafe that makes the best croissant. Every single cafe, and we've been to A LOT around Paris, made amazing croissants. God bless the French for their bread and pastries...wait and cheese...and wine how can I forget about the wine?


Upon arrival in Paris, I felt butterflies in my stomach. It didn't take long for me to fall completely in love. I've had a longstanding love for Paris before my arrival to this beautiful city. Paris has been featured in countless shows, movies, and books. However the one show that got me drawn was Gossip Girl. I mean it was Blair Waldorf's favourite place to run to especially when she can't handle New York City drama. I told myself one day I would come to this place, and one day I will gift myself a Chanel bag. I thought for the longest time this was just a dream I will continuously have until I made it into a reality thanks to hard work. I am incredibly proud of myself for the hard work I've put into being able to afford such a vacation and luxuries. This trip to Paris was a gift to myself, the purses were extra gifts, after all I don't know a better gifter than myself. 

The first in our agenda to our first full day in Paris was to get to Trocadero early before it gets too crowded to get amazing shots, and we accomplished that! The view of the Tour Eiffel from the Trocadero is amazing, it was so breath taking. We spent a couple of hours just soaking in all this beauty and getting some good shots of course. By the time we left, the place was packed with tourists. Also, there were a lot of vendors. If you want to be left alone, do not engage at all or else they will never leave you alone until you buy something. We learned from our mistake this time around, but at least we got a good deal with some Eiffel Tower keychains. We walked around the area and we found a cafe of our choice and had some lunch. Everything on the menu was good. Nothing like sitting outside and basking in the sun and enjoying the beautiful scenery. 

What a remarkable start to an unforgettable time in Paris.

Brooklyn Bridge x OOTD

Fun fact: I am afraid of heights. If you've been on the Brooklyn Bridge you know that just straight below of this platform are honking, speeding cars. This is a wooden bridge so you can see the cars in between the cracks. Clearly you couldn't tell how scared I was as I kept a good poker face; cool calm and collected. It was definitely a quick shoot. As I had a couple of pictures taken I ran to the concrete end of the bridge and I was done. Maybe next time I can last longer than 10 minutes...or maybe even cross to the other side!
